Private and Group Yoga Classes with Christa
I teach private and group yoga lessons.
Private yoga lessons are ideal for students new to yoga, athletes looking to compliment their sport, people recovering from illness or injury, students with a strong practice that would like individual attention, people with busy schedules, or those that don't feel comfortable in group classes.
The simple desire to practice yoga as it was originally practiced; as a personal and unique experience, is why most of my students welcome me into their homes. Before each class, we will sit and discuss how you are feeling physically and emotionally, what you would like to work on, and what your goals are. With over 3000 postures, each class will beautifully compliment where you are in your life and take you further toward health and happiness. Together we will work on the areas you would like to heal, grow, blossom, expand, and free.
Group yoga classes are ideal for students looking to benefit from the social and energetic aspects of practicing with others. You can participate in group yoga lessons at one of the studios I teach at in Pittsford or East. Rochester (see contact page) or you can gather your own group of friends and family together for a group yoga class in your home.
I teach Hatha Flow, Gentle/Restorative, Children's, Prenatal, and Postnatal yoga classes. Please click on the links below to read more about each of my classes.

David Snydar, Private Yoga Student:
"Christa isn't just a yoga teacher, she's the embodiment of yoga. She has added a whole new dimension to my life, transforming it with her deep knowledge, intuitive wisdom, creativity, patient teaching, and most of all her open-hearted spirit. She is truly remarkable, and I can't recommend her strongly enough. When you see her, be sure to ask her about the new wokerydoo branch of yoga she's developing."
Maherly Schaefer, Hatha Yoga Student:
"Christa's yoga class is 75 minutes of pure bliss! It's relaxing yet challenging and I feel like a different person when I leave. Christa makes you believe you can do pretty much any pose, regardless of experience."
